Psychotherapy for Individuals, Couples, & Groups
About Me
I’m a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy services for individuals and couples. I have an office in Greenwich Village and offer sessions in-person and virtually.
My areas of specialty are relationship issues, anxiety and stress, and eating disorders. I work with a wide range of people from different stages of life. Clients come to work on transitioning into new stages of life, navigating changing relationships, exploring their identity, negotiating complex family dynamics, and learning new ways to approach conflict.
I have extensive experience working with young adults, teenagers, students, adults, and couples. Additionally, I have training in group therapy, couples and family therapy, and Modern Psychoanalysis.
Services
Individual Therapy
Psychotherapy is a tool for understanding. Oftentimes, the issues people face do not come with easy solutions. My role is to help you gain the clarity that enables you to make changes and move forward when feeling stuck. Curiosity is our greatest tool in untangling old storylines and changing the harmful beliefs you hold about yourself. Together, we delve deep to help you understand and remove what stands between you and living a more fulfilling life.
Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is more active, collaborative, and solution-focused than individual psychotherapy.
I provide a safe, structured environment to explore your relationship, examine what’s not working, and learn more conscious, intimate, and attuned ways of being in partnership with one another. No matter the configuration of your relationships or the challenges you face, all can benefit from couples counseling.
Group Therapy
For those who are looking to better understand how they relate to others, as well as improve relationship skills, group therapy can be extremely powerful and impactful. The group offers a safe space to gain a better understanding of oneself while reducing the shame or isolation by helping members to seek support with others experiencing similar issues, and provides a space to experiment with different ways of being.
